Kate was the perfect 'other mother' to me and my little brother. Always there, always kind and always ready to help. Kate was funny, constantly making us laugh and wholeheartedly encouraging us to get involved in singing campfire songs, bin bag fashions, talent shows and whatever other crazy activities she'd come up with whether we were at guide camp or not.
